Haridwar is one of the holiest places for Hindu religion. Situated beside Holy Ganges river, thousands of Hindus visit this place for praying and taking a holy dip in Ganges.

Stay:

Har Ki Pauri is the most significant ghat in Haridwar. There are several staying options in Haridwar, nearer you stay to the river the better.

Even if you are not staying in Har Ki Pauri, that is fine. There are many smaller ghats around. We stayed in Hotel Aditya, on Vishnu Ghat. A fairly decent, no frills accommodation.

If you have not booked a place, then just take an auto or rickshaw to Har Ki Pauri and look for accommodations.
