Our next destination after Thimphu was Phobjikha Valley, around 130 kilometres away. On paper, 130 kilometres does not sound like a particularly long journey. In Bhutan, however, distance has to be understood differently. Almost the entire drive was through the hills, with continuous curves and some fairly steep climbs and descents.
