After spending the first few days exploring Langkawi while staying near Kuah Town, it was time to move to the beach side of the island.
So we checked out from Dayang Bay Resort and headed towards our next stay – The Frangipani Langkawi Resort, located at Pantai Tengah.

After the first day of simply settling down and relaxing at the hotel, we started exploring a few places around Langkawi over the next few days. Since we had kept a full week for the trip, there was no hurry to pack everything into a tight schedule.
For quite some time I had been thinking that I should take my parents on an international trip. They had travelled within India quite a bit, but a proper international holiday had never really happened. So that was one of the motivations behind planning this trip.

We were in Kandy for 3 nights.
It was around 8pm, by the time we collected luggage and found ourselves walking towards the exit of Bandarnaike International Airport.
