After the first day of simply settling down and relaxing at the hotel, we started exploring a few places around Langkawi over the next few days. Since we had kept a full week for the trip, there was no hurry to pack everything into a tight schedule.
For quite some time I had been thinking that I should take my parents on an international trip. They had travelled within India quite a bit, but a proper international holiday had never really happened. So that was one of the motivations behind planning this trip.
The next question was where to go.
