We had booked online tickets for the safari from https://forest.mponline.gov.in/Search.aspx?park=3

Panna is known for their tigers. However, as luck might have it, we saw none. We did not see much of any animals. Some deers that’s it.

We took the morning safari. Panna is around 45 mins away from Khajuraho.. Left from our hotel in Khajuraho early morning at around 5:00am. The safari was supposed to start from around 6:30am.

Though we had booked tickets already, you had to pay more money for the jeep in the counter, and the experience was not very pleasant. Quite a bit of shouting and hustling before I got a jeep assigned to us.

The terrain inside the national park was very nice, which made the entire ride quite interesting.

We went to vulture point, we could see a lot of vultures from here. They had pooped one face of the mountain white 🙂
